A.M.A.'s core business is growing containers for growers across Canada and is one of Canada's leading suppliers of plug trays & propagation trays. Propagation is in our blood. Allen started selling plug trays in the earliest days of A.M.A. and the experience shows when you call us about sowing plugs. We carry a very large inventory of the most common trays and can usually get the less common ones pretty quickly. Some trays do require a lead time as they are not stock items with the manufacturers. Speaking of manufacturers, we offer plug trays & propagation trays from Blackmore Company; Dillen; T.O. Plastics; East Jordan Plastics; ITML (on request); Punch 'n Gro; IPL Plastics; Proptek. We have access to a few European tray manufacturers too. Because we also sell seeding equipment, plus Ellepots, understanding the importance of cell design and configuration, plus the automation processes used by growers in transplanting, gives you an edge when you have us look after your tray needs. Al’s Flower Pouch™ has become a staple offering for many, many growers and garden centers around the world. We now offer the original pouches and Al’s Flower Pouch II, a degradable pouch that completely breaks down in a landfill and becomes nothing more than water and CO2. Since recycling is generally not available for a used flower pouch, this is the next best way to deal with it. The polyethylene has the same characteristics as in our regular pouch except that once it hits a landfill; it will be digested by micro-organisms and be gone in about 2 – 3 years. Read more...
